摘要: This article analyzes, “A Blueprint for Reform: The Reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act,” a recently released report from U.S. Department Education. It begins with an analysis strengths report. argues increased college access more federal attention to public education. In addition, outlines inclusive simultaneous commitment educational equity national excellence. then transitions critique Blueprint's choosing blame teachers school leaders failure schools instead acknowledging past government adequately invest in final section challenges literacy community amass all that we know about effective critical instruction share information general public. concludes by calling research collective examines successful classrooms other nonschool spaces where children are learning, they happy, feel good themselves, have maintained strong connections families communities while learning skills make them ready world civic engagement.
