摘要: Abstract The ethyl acetate synthesis via reactive distillation is studied theoretically and experimentally using different catalytic packings. Experiments are carried out at laboratory scale in a 50 mm diameter column with packing height of 3 m, semi-industrial 162 12 m. experimental set-up similar for both cases. commercially available packings KATAPAK®-S two variants MULTIPAK®. Modelling performed rate-based stage model. simulation environment ASPEN Custom Modeler™ used the implementation solution model equations. results simulations agree well corresponding results. In addition, suitable operating conditions influence selected internal on conversion product purity investigated. developed enables scale-up from to industrial size columns, based respective characteristics.
