摘要: Cinnamomum osmophloeum Kaneh is an indigenous tree species in Taiwan. In this study, phytochemical characteristics and antioxidant activities of the essential oils key constituents from leaves two C. clones were investigated. The trees possess chemotypes, which classified as cinnamaldehyde type camphor type. We demonstrated that exerted vivo Caenorhabditis elegans. addition, trans-cinnamaldehyde D-(+)-camphor, respectively represent major compounds cinnamaldehyde-type camphor-type trees, significant against juglone-induced oxidative stress Moreover, expressions antioxidative-related genes, including superoxide dismutase (SOD) glutathione S-transferase (GST), significantly induced by D-(+)-camphor leaves. Our results showed their might have good potential for further development nutraceuticals or remedies.
