摘要: Phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) generation of PI(3,4,5)P 3 from PI(4,5)P 2 and the subsequent activation Akt its downstream signaling cascades (e.g., mTORC1) dominate landscape phosphoinositide axis in cancer research. However, is breaking boundary as merely a substrate for PI3K phospholipase C (PLC) now an established lipid messenger pivotal various cellular events cancer. Here we review cancer, giving due weight to generating enzymes, phosphatidylinositol (PI) phosphate (PIP) kinases (PIPKs). We highlight how PIPKs serve proximal node interaction with cytoskeletal proteins regulates migratory invasive nexus metastasizing tumor cells.
