摘要: Abstract A family of bombinin-related peptides is present in the skin Bombina variegata. These contain 27 residues with Gly as N-terminus and display antimicrobial activity. From sequence analysis cDNAs encoding for corresponding peptide precursors, presence a novel 20-residue Ile was predicted. We have now purified hydrophobic named H1-H5, whose sequences correspond to predicted some variability positions 1, 2 8. In particular, H3-H5 D-alloisoleucine residue second position.
