摘要: An ultrastructural study of normal mouse erythroblastic islands and reticular cells has been made. Fixation in glutaraldehyde, then postosmication followed by double staining uranyl acetate lead monoxide found to greatly facilitate the classification developing erythroblasts. Morphologic evidence for ferritin transfer from erythroblasts was not obtained. The prime function cell is considered be erythrophagocytosis. unusual cytoplasmic feature these are crystal-like inclusions which have noted erythrophagocytes other species. These structures either completely or partially surrounded single membranes and, some instances, elaborate multilaminated membrane systems. Although chemical nature unknown, their association with aggregates hemosiderin suggest they component ingested erythrocytes. Other aspects ultrastructure marrow described.
