摘要: textabstractPancreatic cancer, including ampullary, distal bile duct and pancreatic head cancer, is one of the most lethal human cancers still is a major unsolved health problem at start 21st century. It has been estimated that this disease causes 30.000 deaths per year in USA with an incidence 9-10 cases 100.000 slightly increased male: female black: white ratios. The cancer in Netherlands approximately 8.4 patients. This number has been quite steady over past ten years. Pancreatic cancer currently ranks as the fifth common cause related deaths western countries. Over the past 20 years continuous to have appalling prognosis less than 1% patients surviving more than 5 from diagnosis, so mortality rates and annual are virtually identical.
