摘要: The effect of the thermal population (000) and (100) conduction bands on elastic constants heavily doped n‐type Ge is investigated. theory predicts changes with doping (relative to pure Ge) in all three constants: c44, C′=(1/2) (c11−c12), B=(1/3) (c11+2c12). shear constant C′ bulk modulus B gradually disappear when temperature becomes low enough allow depopulation higher lying while change c44 identical that predicted theoretically verified experimentally by others. magnitude as a function estimated found be within range sensitivity present day ultrasonic techniques.
