摘要: When the equilibrium between free-radical production and cellular antioxidant defences is disturbed in favour of more free radicals, it causes oxidative stress which can promote injury. Oxidative has been suggested to play a role pathogenesis diabetic cardiomyopathy. In streptozotocin-induced diabetes, there decrease enzyme activities an increase myocardial lipid peroxidation. Probucol, antioxidant, was found improve cardiac function may have due peroxidation animals. Some beneficial effects probucol also be improvement plasma insulin levels glucose. The state associated with endothelial dysfunction, retinopathy, neuropathy renopathy. these secondary complications mediated by stress. It that cardiomyopathy deficit therapy useful improving diabetes.
