摘要: Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are among the most frequent in clinical practice worldwide. Their frequency and burden must be higher than available data suggest because they not mandatory diseases to notified. Although there many different proposals for classifying UTIs, classifications based on acquisition settings complication status more widely used. These include community- acquired UTIs (CAUTIs) or healthcare-associated (HAUTIs) uncomplicated complicated UTIs. As frequently seen infectious disease, CAUTIs affect 150 million people annually. Complicated particular constitute a huge healthcare systems as reason hospitalization. The prevalence of HAUTIs ranges between 1.4% 5.1%, majority them catheter-related Community-onset have gained importance recent years. diseases, create economic burdens systems, also quality life determinants.
