摘要: The general view concerning the cause of setting, i.e. solidification, a hydrating slurry is briefly discussed. aim this paper to put on quantitative basis theory akin one hydration previously published. It shown that setting time plaster should be proportional (1 + 2.75 w)−1/3 where w water ratio slurry. Experimental curves are presented show so. An unexpected result three four plasters tested give lines equal slope. Several explanations why fourth behave differently possible proposed theory, but it experimentally thatin case was different crystal shape which responsible for difference. Generally speaking, gives useful information about some properties by such simple means as Vicat needle.
