摘要: Since the last couple of years, an increasing number publications have been appearing dealing with use preceramic polymers for joining mainly silicon carbide ceramics. In this paper, data concerning Al2O3, Si3N4 and C/Cf composite materials using a silicone resin or polycarbosilane are reported. Joint strength was not high in all tested systems; best results were obtained case alumina. SEM investigations showed that failure mechanism mixed (cohesive — adhesive) alumina cohesive nitride. The material, oxycarbide glass, inert towards ceramics used, it acted as inorganic adhesive (adhesive bonding).
