摘要: Abstract We present a surface-wave inversion method that inverts for the S-wave velocity from Rayleigh wave dispersion curve using difference approximation to gradient of misfit function. call this equation skeletonized surface waves because fundamental-mode is inverted finite-difference solutions multi-dimensional elastic equation. The best match between predicted and observed curves provides optimal model. Our can invert lateral variations also mitigate local minimum problem in full waveform with reasonable computation cost simple models. Results synthetic field data illustrate benefits limitations method.
