摘要: This study is a preliminary assessment of suitable binders and formats potential formulated diets for hatchery growout early-stage western spiny lobster, Panulirus cygnus, phyllosomata. Six dry meal (each bound with different binder) three gelatinous (all using gelatine) were tested stability in water over increasing periods time (4, 8, 12 h), the feeding response to each was observed by video analysis. The krill diet appears most suited larval biology P. cygnus phyllosomata as it elicited heightened immediately following immersion, stable up 4 h, did not foul maxillae during ingestion. contributed excessive fouling Of diets, 5% k-carrageenan, presumably because high moisture content softer texture.
