摘要: Capturing circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with sufficient sensitivity and specificity in vitro is of paramount importance for early cancer diagnosis. Here a facile approach to immobilizing hyaluronic acid (HA) onto electrospun polyvinyl alcohol/polyethyleneimine (PVA/PEI) nanofibers capturing overexpressing CD44 receptors reported. In this study, PVA/PEI were crosslinked using glutaraldehyde vapor, covalently conjugated HA via N-(3-dimethy-laminopropyl)-N′-ethylcarbodiimide/N-hydroxysuccinimide coupling reaction, followed by neutralization the remaining fiber surface PEI amines acetylation. The formed characterized different techniques. It shown that HA-modified mean diameter 459.7 nm possess smooth uniform fibrous morphology, similar without modification. display good cytocompatibility hemocompatibility as confirmed cell viability, hemolysis, anticoagulant assays. Importantly, modified HA, exhibit superior capability capture receptor-overexpressing cells. developed may hold great promise be applied CTCs diagnosis applications.
