摘要: The pyloric region, as described by Torgersen (1) in 1942, consists of a circular thickening the innermost muscle layer found at junction stomach and duodenum. Schulze-Delrieu et al. (2) confirmed presence this ring all mammalian species studied, albeit with some variation size. This was termed distal loop. A second thickened muscular ring, proximal loop, has been identified number species, is connected to loop fan-like arrangement oblique fibres forming over antrum, running from greater lesser curvature. These two loops their connecting meet ridge, or torus, located on curvature aspect stomach. Figure 1 illustrates schematically anatomy human area.
