摘要: Rare earth elements (REE) are among the Critical Raw Materials classified by European Commission due to unbalanced supply and demand. Neodymium praseodymium belong REE group that plays a significant role in NdFeB magnets, which applied green technology devices such as wind turbines hybrid cars, besides hard disk drives. Recent data estimate demand for these magnets will increase next years, causing insufficient metals availability. Recycling is an alternative solve problem, however there many difficulties, mainly economics, since no profitable process developed yet. This study was focused on evaluation of neodymium leaching efficiency from post-consumer magnets. Three factors (solid/liquid ratio, temperature, time) were studied evaluate process. Statistical design experiments analysis variance performed order determine main effects interactions investigated sulfuric acid 2 mol/L. The results showed highest efficiencies 90.3 89.6%, respectively, they obtained at 1/20, 70 °C 15 min. ANOVA praseodymium. On contrary, temperature time with positive effect, interaction between three had negative effect neodymium.
