摘要: Data to guide programmatic decisions in public health are needed, but frequently epidemiologists limited routine case report data for notifiable conditions such as sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). However, incomplete or provide information on comorbidity risk factors. Supplemental often exist not easily accessible, due a variety of real perceived obstacles. matching, defined the linkage records across two more sources, can be useful method obtain better additional data, using existing resources. This article reviews practical considerations matching STD HIV surveillance with other including examples how programs have used matching.
