摘要: A planar helix slow-wave structure which has straight-edge connections been studied for traveling-wave tube applications. The effects of coplanar ground planes, on the dielectric surfaces also contain top and bottom inclined strips, are examined. phase velocity interaction impedance two possible configurations. planes reduce near cut-off frequency hence provide a relatively flat versus curve. with designed it produces 118% bandwidth, ±5% variation, significant impedance. All results simulated using CST Microwave Studio eigenmode solver.
