摘要: Abstract Food production processes may have both positive and negative environmental sustainability impacts. This makes decision-making challenging in the transition towards more sustainable food systems. In this paper, a new method for presenting impacts context of planetary boundaries is demonstrated. will help agricultural producers compare magnitudes various The an organic sheep farm boreal climate zone Finland are studied herein first using life cycle assessment method. results then normalized presented boundary framework to ascertain extent different show that context, there grazing on biosphere integrity (genetic diversity) biogeochemical flows change, land use or freshwater use. Magnitudes greatly dependent assumptions made especially regarding future, it crucial be based evaluation focus complex thinking, rather than one single impact. research demonstrates from can modified context. A approach similar proposed could further used identify perspectives better recognize multifunctional aspects ecosystem processes.
