摘要: Summary In this paper, I draw on my own experiences to question some of the boundaries constructed around notions activism and academia. Firstly, introduce as a discursively produced concept with potential both challenge support social exclusion. propose an inclusive, reflexive view that places us all ‘activists’. Using understanding work feminist other critical geographers, consider role reflexivity within research activist projects. Drawing activism, then explore reproduce academic-activist binary. suggest such are actively may compromise liberatory academic research. conclude article by suggesting grounded in contingency our lives can academy beyond.
