摘要: The constancy of the internal environment and concept homeostasis have been two powerful organizing paradigms in field vertebrate physiology since they were first enunciated late-19th early-20th century. This work examines extent to which desert-living reptiles are governed by these same principles, sprang from study more physically advanced birds mammals.
