摘要: Abstract Patterns of arsenic excretion were followed in a cohort ( n  = 6) eating defined rice diet, 300 g per day d.wt. where speciation was characterized cooked rice, following period abstinence from and other high containing foods. A control group who did not consume also monitored. The consumed the study contained inorganic dimethylarsinic acid (DMA) at ratio 1:1, yet urine dominated by DMA (90%). At steady state (rice consumption/urinary excretion) ∼40% derived excreted via urine. By monitoring each pass throughout it observed that there considerable variation (up to 13-fold) for an individual's total content, time dependent urinary content. This calls into question robustness routinely used first pass/spot check sampling analysis.
