摘要: Abstract Aluminum and magnesium were burned in carbon dioxide-oxygen dioxide-argon mixtures. The same procedures methods of analysis as reported by Brzustowski2,4 employed. For the narrower pressure regime covered, it was found that anodized aluminum wires burning mixtures exhibited combustion characteristics those this laboratory for oxygen-argon power required to cause ignition CO2 − O2 decreased with increasing dioxide content a minimum pure dioxide. When Ar mixtures, cylindrical vapor-phase diffusion flames formed prior breaking electrically heated wire. altered more appreciably presence Particularly, region no greater than Ar.
