摘要: This article contains the results of a study performed to support Dutch environmental policy dematerialization. The aim was develop and apply methodology identify materials that contribute most problems in Netherlands. developed combines aspects material flow accounting (MFA) life-cycle assessment (LCA) aims at adding set weights flows materials. applied number For these materials, impacts per kilogram were extracted from standard LCA database combination with software. These are then multiplied yearly throughput each Netherlands obtain an indication associated material. This discussion dematerialization as background for research, description followed by its application, comparison impact-based versus mass-based indicators. Materials vary many orders magnitude their unit mass. In general, impact mass bulk is lower than used small quantities. implies variation much less either or separately. High-priority based on small-quantity very high (such heavy metals) large-quantity not-so-low agriculture plastics).
