摘要: ESI-MS is a powerful/sensitive detector for CE in metabolomics. For trace analysis of certain metabolites, off-line sample preparation will be required prior to CE-ESI-MS. An alternative and complementary approach stacking, which was initially developed with UV detection improve sensitivity. Stacking also offers the possibility clean-up during analyte focusing, providing opportunity tedious long commonly associated bioanalysis. This chapter introduces different stacking techniques CE-UV, their evolution into CE-ESI-MS special emphasis on applications The nature metabolites (typically charged small molecules) makes it easy apply currently available literature. However, seems like metabolomics still its development/testing stage, hopefully younger scientists pursue research this relevant area study.
