摘要: Grinding is a widely used machining and finishing operation for the ceramic materials. Nowadays, new variant of composite ceramics has also been developed. In many applications, these too need to be ground. The present study aims experimentally investigate grindability aspects such (AlSiTi) compare those with conventional (SiC). forces, specific grinding energy surface integrity including subsurface damage roughness are responses measured during detailed experiments performed where parameters like wheel speed, table speed depth cut varied over domain. Optical microscope scanning electron (SEM) have analyse ground surface, swarfs. results provide valuable insight into (AlSiTi). Cracks voids produced on found significantly different from observed while under same process parametric conditions.
