摘要: Background Angiostrongylus vasorum is a nematode living in the pulmonary arteries of canids. Infected dogs develop severe lesions which can potentially lead to hypertension (PH). However, reports PH natural infected are scant. One possible causes low prevalence A. vasorum-infected could be establishment large diameter intrapulmonary arteriovenous anastomoses (IPAVAs), attenuate vascular resistance, thus reducing arterial pressure. The present report describes pressure (PAP) response infection two dogs, assessed by echocardiography and saline contrast echocardiographic test (SCE).
