摘要: To build a sustainable social system in the future, promotion of animal welfare, as well human is essential. In this study, we address issues related to euthanasia that are commonly encountered shelters. Many animals entering an shelter euthanized shelters due lack physical facilities, and new strategies needed reduce such euthanasia. For purpose, show it possible numbers by utilizing space resources efficiently sharing these appropriately among achieve this, propose mathematical optimization models determine operational schedules given with objective minimizing rates. demonstrate superiority our approaches, conducted case study at Seoul capital area. Through operating obtained from model can significantly, 30% on average, efficient utilization facility We approaches have high impact improving welfare if they properly combined encouraging adoptions.
