Single spin asymmetry for p↑p → πX in perturbative QCD

摘要: Abstract Within the QCD-improved parton model and assuming factorization theorem to hold in helicity basis for higher twist contributions, we show how nonzero single spin asymmetries hadron-hadron high energy moderately large p T inclusive processes can be obtained, even massless perturbative QCD, provided quark intrinsic motion is taken into account. A simple constructed which reproduces main features of data on asymmetry observed pion production collisions.
