摘要: Virtually all alkynes react smoothly and under mild conditions with octacarbonyldicobalt to yield complexes of the type (1). When treated alkenes such give cyclopentenone derivatives (2), a reaction which we call “Khand reaction” after my late coworker Dr. I. U. Khand, who not only first observed this transformation, but also subjected it systematic study.
