摘要: Ultra-wideband (UWB) communication is a promising technology to provide high data rates with low power consumption in wireless personal area networks. Among the standards adopting UWB technology, Wireless USB (WUSB) running on platform of WiMedia aims high-speed connectivity between mobile devices. To support reliable connectivity, should be adapted according channel states that are time- varying. In this paper, we propose novel rate adaptation scheme which considers characteristics WUSB protocol as well time-varying channel. Our proposed uses prediction short time scale. Specifically, state previous window used determine next window, assuming similarity two successive windows. Through extensive trace-driven simulations, show outperforms conventional schemes.
