摘要: Metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs) modulate neurotransmission all along the pain neuraxis. While involvement of group I and II mGluRs in is well documented, information has only just started to emerge concerning role contribution III subtypes modulation. Recent data suggest that these reduce symptoms animal models chronic pain, as regulate at different levels ascending descending pathway, suggesting may be interesting therapeutic targets for development analgesics.
