摘要: Abstract The CATS protein (also known as FAM64A and RCS1) was first identified a novel CALM (PICALM) interactor that influences the subcellular localization of leukemogenic fusion CALM/AF10. is highly expressed in cancer cell lines cycle dependent manner induced by mitogens. considered marker for proliferation, to control metaphase-to-anaphase transition during division. Using bait yeast two-hybrid screen we Kinase Interacting Stathmin (KIS or UHMK1) interacting partner. interaction between KIS confirmed GST pull-down, co-immunopreciptation co-localization experiments. kinase assay showed substrate mapped phosphorylation site serine 131 (S131). Protein expression analysis revealed levels changed cycle-dependent opposite direction levels. In reporter gene able enhance transcriptional repressor activity CATS, independent phophorylation at S131. Moreover, antagonize transactivation capacity CALM/AF10.In summary, our results show interacts with KIS, suggesting regulates function.
