摘要: Osteopetrosis is the generic name for a group of diseases caused by deficient formation or function osteoclasts, inherited in either autosomal recessive dominant fashion. varies severity from disease that may kill infants to an incidental radiological finding adults. It increasingly clear prognosis governed which gene affected, making detailed elucidation cause critical component optimal care, including decision on whether hematopoietic stem cell transplantation appropriate. This article reviews characteristics and management osteopetrosis.
