摘要: Agroforestry and sustainable landscape management are key strategies for implementing the UN-Sustainable Development Goals across world’s production landscapes. However, both have so far been studied in isolation from each other. This editorial introduces a special feature dedicated to scrutinizing role of agroforestry strategies. The comprises eleven studies that adopt inter- transdisciplinary perspectives, integrating ecological, agricultural, socio-economic sciences, some cases also practical knowledge. relate range different ecosystem goods services, diversity societal sectors (e.g., agriculture, forestry, nature conservation, urban planning, protection) demands, including their mutual synergies trade-offs. They inform land-use policy practice by conceptualizing as set “nature-based solutions” useful help tackle multiple challenges. encompass four themes: social-ecological drivers, processes, impacts changes landscapes; sustainability outcomes at scale; scaling up through multi-stakeholder strategies; development conceptual operational tools stakeholder analysis transitions.
