摘要: Background The aim of this study was to explore the use actigraphy investigate sleep problems in a convenience sample clients Dutch intellectual disability (ID) care providers. Based on data obtained large multi-centre healthy ageing people with ID, research questions were: ‘To what degree are actigraphic measurements successful population?’ and ‘What is influence different sensitivity settings Actiwatch Sleep Analysis software distribution variables group?’ Methods Data were collected cross-sectional descriptive design. We included 563 participants, aged 50 years or older, borderline profound ID. Sleep-wake measured continuously during 14 days nights using AW7. A complete measurement at least 7 nights, including one weekend day, considered successful. Objective analysed AW7 software. Results In 200 participants (35.5%), obtained. Unsuccessful caused primarily by wearing device incomplete information bed time get up time. Of 382 who started Actiwatch, 354 (92.3%) wore it for days. Application resulted clear differences all parameters.
