摘要: Abstract Purpose: In India, talking about sex is taboo. Little known the knowledge, attitude, and sexual behavior of adolescents. This study was carried out with purpose examining: (a) knowledge medical students sex, (b) sources learning (c) practices young adults. Methods: among undergraduate a college in Delhi. A pretested, semiclosed-type questionnaire voluntarily filled by students. Confidentiality secrecy assured. Results: Of 500 students, 73% participated study. Knowledge regarding intercourse, masturbation, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases satisfactory 70%, 74.8%, 83.5%, 92.6% respondents, respectively. Common source were friends (74.5%), pornographic films (56.2%), books magazines (55.1%). Only one fifth could communicate teachers, parents, persons other gender sex. About 417 viewed homosexuality as normal behavior. Sexual intercourse had been experienced 11.8% respondents. The mean age first 17.5 years.
