摘要: The effects of aerobic fitness on resistance to psychosocial stressors are reviewed. To unravel the inconsistent results in studies examining relationship between and stress response, a meta-analysis was conducted. 34 having 92 effect size estimates from 1,449 subjects were statistically combined compare stressor tasks arousal measures. average estimate 0.48 significantly different zero (P less than 0.01), indicating that aerobically fit had reduced response compared either control group or baseline values. test for homogeneity assumption showed it could not be rejected, thus none proposed moderating variables altered fitness-psychosocial reactivity relationship. Various underlying mechanisms which may contribute this discussed, future research directions presented.
