摘要: Recent research on contingency judgment indicates that the judged predictiveness of a cue is dependent predictive strengths other cues. Two classes models correctly predict such interaction: associative and statistical models. However, these differ in their predictions about effect trial order interaction. In five experiments reported here, college students viewed trial-by-trial data regarding several medical symptoms disease, judging strength each symptom with respect to disease. The results indicate influences manner which cues interact, but neither nor can fully account for pattern. A possible variation an discussed.
