摘要: Observational studies are frequently used in biomedical research to determine associations between a treatment or exposure and the effects they can produce. Randomized control trials have been developed with same purpose. Although provide more precise results, complex costly. The use of propensity score methodology observational helps decrease appearance bias that normally present, making them accurate better reliability than randomized trials. Given increase clinical recent years, we consider it is particular interest make description it, highlighting its application scope different techniques.
