摘要: Underwater observations were used to examine the microhabitat utilization, feeding periodicity, home range and population size of Cottus carolinae, banded sculpin, in Little River eastern Tennessee. Most sculpins resided under rocks during day, but on tops at night. Analyses gut contents indicated that C. carolinae fed primarily counts individually marked suggested these fish have a small average range, with maximum 47 m2. Based mark-recapture enclosure study Jolly-Seber method, mean density estimates for 0.4 0.9 fish/m2, respectively.
