摘要: The current investigation was designed to examine the association of parenting during late childhood and early adolescence, a time rapid physical development, with biological propensity for inflammation. Based on life course theory, it hypothesized that this period growth development would be associated outcomes self-reported health assessed in young adulthood. It expected mediated either by effects methylation key inflammatory factor, Tumor necrosis factor (TNF), or else pro-inflammatory shift distribution mononuclear blood cells. Supporting expectations, sample 398 African American youth residing rural Georgia, followed from age 11 19, at ages 11-13 reports better 19. We found changes TNF as well cell-type composition. However, whereas significant mediator adult health, variation white cell types not health. research suggests potential value examining health-related adolescence. Further examination protection against tendencies conferred appears warranted.
