Activity and Social Behavior in a South African Township Nursery: Some Effects of Crowding.

摘要: Observations were made of children in an extremely crowded township nursery South Africa. The effects naturally-occurring within-group variations so cial density assessed. Results indicate that the exhibit moderate sensitivity to changes density. Overall, children's social behavior and ac tivity patterns comparable with those reported similar studies First World less nurseries. Levels crowding at home appeared exert only a small effect on nursery.
