摘要: Abstract. Both theoretical reasoning and empirical data suggest that personality well-being have substantial interrelationships. However, more longitudinal evidence is required, the relationship lacks research attention from a lifespan perspective. We examined mid-term long-term interrelations of Neuroticism Extraversion with life satisfaction in two cohorts middle late adulthood, using “Interdisciplinary Longitudinal Study Adult Development (ILSE).” Multigroup, cross-lagged models reveal to be predictive than vice versa. Furthermore, an aging effect occurs regarding relationships between personality, being only old cohort. Controlling for health weakens interrelationship. Results add understanding dynamics among satisfaction.
