摘要: Psychology needs to make a contribution towards global community development. One domain where it can do that is the field of inter-group relations, which integral economic and social change. This chapter first positions development agencies themselves, as groups, inside overall process. These groups frequently bring problems their own equation. Those are played out in (1) aid mediascapes, through broadcast disturbing images poor raise funds from donor communities; (2) ethnoscapes, those disbursed by expatriate workers; (3) ideoscapes, “recipient” communities eschew outside intervention favor determination within.
