摘要: Dipeptidyl peptidase III (DPP III), the sole member and representative of M49 family metallopeptidases, is a zinc-dependent aminopeptidase. It sequentially hydrolyses dipeptides from N-terminal oligopeptides ranging three to 10 amino acid residues. Although implicated in an array pathophysiological phenomena, precise function this still unclear. However, number studies advocate its contribution terminal stages protein turnover. Altered expression DPP which suggests involvement primary ovarian carcinoma, oxidative stress (Nrf2 nuclear localization), pain, inflammation cataractogenesis has recently led resurgence interest delineating role these processes. This review article intends bring forth latest updates arena may serve as base for future on peptidase.
