摘要: Monte Carlo methods are extensively used in Nuclear Medicine to tackle a variety of problems that difficult study by an experimental or analytical approach. A review the most recent tools allowing application single photon emission tomography (SPET) and positron (PET) is presented. To help potential users choose code, we present advantages disadvantages different types codes currently available for SPET PET, discuss common specific features codes, classify with respect these features, comment key properties code be appropriate given purpose and, at last, consider possibility going towards standardisation description which could facilitate their comparison.
