摘要: Avian influenza (AI) caused by Type A virus is a global zoonosis, infecting vast majority of mammalian and avian species. Broilers are meat type birds randomly reared sold the farmers in Bangladesh with poor biosecurity. This study was aimed to identify subtypes AI viruses broilers two live bird markets, Mymensingh. total 10 from each market were selected, investigated clinical, pathological, reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reactions (RT-PCR), sequencing sequence analysis. Out 20 investigated, 06 sick, 02 dead 12 apparently healthy. Clinically, sick/dead did not reveal any changes typical AI. During necropsy, showed congested lungs moderate hemorrhages trachea. Such lesions absent healthy birds. Following histopathological examination interstitial pneumonia bronchitis seen The RT-PCR protocol adapted matrix protein gene amplified 430bp fragment even cases. To sub types involved, hemagglutinin (HA) neuraminidase (NA) specific carried out. 1475bp 1089bp amplicons HA NA genes generated 07 cDNAs sequenced, edited revealed that circulated Mymensingh city H9N2 subtype. Two one four found carry virus. naturally low pathogenic for poultry, has got public health significance, may donate partial or whole cassette internal generate novel human-lethal reassortants viruses; this main concern viral outbreak investigation study. It needs examine large number samples wider sources trace rate mutation subsequent reemergence pandemic viruses. Res. Agric., Livest. Fish.5(2): 225-233, August 2018
