摘要: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings in fetuses with sono- graphically evident ventriculomegaly regard provision additional information: as an isolated finding, acquired pathology, or a part syndrome/malformation complex. Thirty-eight women fetal suspected by prenatal ultrasonography (US) were referred our institution from October 2002 January 2007 for MRI. In 11 cases, US and MRI comparable. seven specified diagnosis without changing management counseling, while three led change and/or counseling. 12 was made based on find- ings; five neither nor detected underlying pathology prenatally, final being postnatally. Fetal has proven have significant impact majority cases (33/38) confirming, complet- ing, correcting diagnoses, enabling adequate On basis observations, we discuss selected causes via neuropediatric approach focus prognosis outcome.
